Very nice stay, as always. Always spotless place with delightfully helpful staff and top location. Nice interior, great restaurant.
-
I enjoyed the Victorian-style building, bright room. Staff were outstanding, setting is in 20 minutes' walk to the downtown. And it also had nice view. Service was superb there.
-
Liked staff and location. Rooms with a luxurious decor. Beds were very uncomfortable, even so it was truly a lovely stay.
The bathroom was poor.
-
We both liked it, the place is brilliant and suited us fine.
-
Staff were fairly quiet and we loved our time there. Extraordinary breakfast with plenty of food, also with pleasant pancakes, scrambled eggs and cheese. Very efficient service and acceptable value.
-
The place was fairly clean, I thoroughly enjoyed its staff and location. Beautiful view, a small balcony, really comfy bed, too. With fast check-in and late check-out, this hotel was absolutely fabulous.
-
Every detail here was TERRIFIC, including location and staff. It was a really comfortable stay, you could leave a car nearby. Loved location of the property in a busy area.
-
Excellent location, central to all night life, and very affordable
-
We truly enjoyed location and drinks. Comfy bed & a spacious bathroom. Such a unique hotel - within short walking distance of everything.
-
The bed was comfortable, the room was really big, the personnel was very nice, the check-in/checkout was totally uncomplicated, only the shower was a little unruly.
s.o. Shower kept on running, but I think this problem is solved by now. In any case, the problem was dealt with directly after our check-out.
-
Large extravagant room, in a great building, in the middle of the city.
We were missing a refrigerator and a safe in the room. The mattress could have been more comfortable. There is no possibility to stop in front of the hotel by car, bring your luggage to the hotel and check in in peace. So we first looked for a parking place and then had to carry the luggage to the hotel.

Location, rooms, staff
W-LAN not possible

Friendly staff and excellent sized room.
-
Convenient location for my purpose - at comparatively nice price
-
Really liked to feel of the old bank and its history and older decor along with a modern twist to the rooms.
Breakfast was very nice although difficult and fussy. Having to go and queue for tea, toast, juice etc was very frustrating. Why not have it served to the table like other hotels????? This was the only thing that rankled. Nice food though.
